This is a game for all ages. Four or more people are needed to play. An even number of people is best. If an odd number, one person would read the story.
There are variations of the Right, Left, and Across game. This is just one example.
First pick a gift and then stand in a circle, making sure someone is directly across from you. Then pick a person to read the story. That person can also participate in the game if there is an even number of players.
As the story is read, listen for the words, Right, Left, and Across, and pass the gift you are holding in that direction. Once the story ends, the gift you are holding is yours.
It’s that simple.
